THE "STAR" OF THE MONTH (December, 2003)

Color:    Black/white
DOB:   12/15/02
Parents:   Duchess Aurora Whitestar and Blue's Tecumseh Sherman

Best Advice for New Puppy Owners:   Get yourself a crate ahead of time.  Don't be afraid to let them know you're the boss and love them to death!!!  Don't take anything for granted.  They will get into anything that they can get to.

Favorite food:   She likes anything.  She's not picky.
Favorite toy:   Whatever our little girl is playing with that she can steal.
Favorite game:   Playing fetch with a tennis ball and tug of war with Daddy.
Obedience/tricks learned:  sit, shake and lay down.  She will come when you whistle for her.  She also just learned to jump up in her crate in the back of the truck from the ground by herself.
Future plans:  Would like to get her into obedience class and show her in some dog shows.  She's awful pretty in person!

Animal friends:   She plays with Rusty, a Shetland Sheepdog.  She also likes to jump up on the cage and sniff our little girl's rabbits (Donut Girl and Cocoa).
If she could talk, I am sure she would say . . "How come I got into BIG trouble for getting into the flower bed, and the other day Mommy came out and pulled them all up and you didn't do anything to her?" She also says, "I Love You", to anyone who pays attention to her and "Are you going to take me for a walk now?"
Funniest moment:  Any time she sneaks into our little girl's playhouse while she is in there playing and steals something.  She runs away with it while she is being chased and our daughter is screaming to high heaven!!!  Our daughter doesn't think it is funny, BUT you should see the show!
Proudest moment:  When she got loose in the country on some 26 acres, and was so freaked out that she came right to us when she realized that she was too far away and wanted to get back to us when we were hollering for her.  She was loose for about 30 minutes before we realized that she was gone.  Very, VERY scary and beaming with pride when she came on command.
